Hello!
My name is Laura Blizniak and I am a fashion designer based in New York City.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to design for women of all ages. I have found success in designing private label brands for top companies such as Target, Walmart, and most recently, QVC. These opportunities have allowed me to design for a wide range of product categories like denim, outerwear, tailored garments, cut and sew knits, and swimwear. This was all made possible by my education at Virginia Tech, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising Management.
I am passionate about making the fashion industry more sustainable. I believe this can be done at every level of development and production with a little creativity. I recently completed a certification at F.I.T. called Sustainable Design Entrepreneurship.
When not designing, I am most likely reading the newest, most-buzzed-about fiction novel, trying out new recipes I find on Instagram, or entering all of the Broadway lotteries.
